Youth This week and Details about Winter Retreat!

Hello Everyone! I was in Church this morning and I realized I did not post details about this week's upcoming youth event. My apologies.

1. This Wednesday February 22 at 7:30 to 9:15 pm- We will be have a youth group and we will be discussing the The Cost of Discipleship.  Please note that we are changing our pick-up time to 9:15.  We have decided to try to make so that students can get home earlier.

2. Winter Retreat- Great News! We have decided we will do a winter Retreat even though the Cancelled Creation Museum trip was supposed to be in place of it. it will be from March 3-4th and Sathiya Sam will be our Speaker! Pastor Steve Carruthers will be leading Worship! Sign up asap to get a spot! Winter retreat money will still be used for subsidizing Serve. We will be doing a fun event Friday night that may cost some money. The retreat will cost $30 per person. Sign up deadline is: Feb 26 

3. Serve July 22nd-29th 2017- This year serve will be in Thunder Bay Ontario. We are looking for 12 youth to go. We want a deposit of $70 to confirm your spot for Serve by March 21st. Cost to be registered is $450 CDN ($360 USD)  but because Creation Museum was cancelled this year we will use that money to subsidize registration costs so we will charge $370 CDN  per person for registration. Meaning that once you have paid your $70 deposit you will owe $300. We will need to raise more money for transportation costs once everyone is registered. We will also do a valentines dinner (February 10th) to raise youth bucks.
